Talk by David Wheeler, Senior Decorative Arts Conservator, Royal Collection

Gifts between the Royal Houses of Great Britain and Norway have been given both officially and unofficially since the re-establishment of the Norwegian Royal Family. Our member, Mr David Wheeler, will look at this tradition through some of the Norwegian objects that now form part of the Royal Collection.

The Royal Collection of the British royal family is the largest private art collection in the world. Spread among 13 royal residences in the United Kingdom, the collection is owned by King Charles III and overseen by the Royal Collection Trust.
