HM King Charles III confirms royal patronage of our society

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Buckingham Palace has just confirmed that HM King Charles III will succeed Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as our Patron.

The Principal Private Secretary to The King & Queen communicated that “Following the thorough analysis of over one thousand organisations, I am pleased to confirm that His Majesty would be delighted to accept the Patronage of the Anglo-Norse Society”.

This is a great honour for the Society and an indication of the enduringly strong ties between Norway and the United Kingdom.
