Festive Lunch with illustrated Talk on The History of the Anglo-Norse Society 1918 to the present

Thursday 18 October 2018 at 12 noon  at the Norwegian Seamen's Church 1 St Olav's Square SE16 7JB

To mark the Centenary of  The Anglo-Norse Society is joining  forces with Kvinneforeningen for a special lunch at the Norwegian Seamen’s Church.  As it is the Society's  Anniversary, it has been decided to celebrate with a Norwegian Koldtbord; ie a Buffet  lunch,  which includes traditional Norwegian smoked salmon served with scrambled eggs in addition to other typical fare on such occasions and not forgetting a birthday “Bløtkake” donated by a benefactor. There will be a raffle to raise funds for the ANS Centenary Scholarship Fund.

Kvinneforeningen is partly sponsoring this lunch as a birthday present, but ANS members are asked to contribute £ 4 towards the cost (Pay on the day). For catering purposes we need to know numbers  so please tell the Anglo-Norse Secretary if you wish to come.
